Welcome to the Ecclesia Pistis Sophia -
Virginia Study Group website!
Our mission is to study the Sophian Gnostic tradition through the
works of Tau Malachi, Tau (teacher) and Lineage Holder
of this Christian, Kabbalistic tradition.
What is Sophian Gnosticism?
It is a Christian path to enlightenment through experience of the Living Christ Spirit that is within, around and ever beyond us. We are all meant to receive the Holy Spirit and embody this anointing, just as the disciples of Jesus who became apostles to many circles of the First Christians--
on fire with the Holy Spirit!
This is our calling and our Gospel Message to share with all who will listen, with all who are willing to open and receive the Light Transmission, the Fiery Intelligence from above. And so we move in surrender to Mother Spirit
for the sake of the illumination of all, through prayer,
spiritual practice, and sacred study.
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3
This glory of which Paul speaks is our destiny, for in Christ we are shown who we truly are in God! We are meant for the same illumination that Jesus embodied for us. If you can hear this message and not be offended, then perhaps you are ready to walk this path in faith, as a sign of hope for others, and in the love which bears, believes, hopes and endures.
God bless you in your journey!
We meet every Sunday at 1:00 pm for discussion and worship of the Holy One of Being.
At this time we are engaged
in studies of Tau Malachi's book,
The Gnostic Gospel of St. Thomas,
and readings from the Forum on the
Ecclesia Pistis Sophia website.
We gather in Fredericksburg, Virginia,
just 50 miles south of Washington, D.C.,
off Interstate 95. If you are interested in
